Right on the harbour side and can only be reached by foot on a donkey wide lane, bliss no cars. ( luggage can be dropped off and walked up 2 minute)

It is situated right in the harbour, inns, restaurants(french,Cornish, Portugese, Chinese, Indian, fish & chip shop, pastie Shop,bakery , green grocers which sells meat from Lobbs Farm shop, Mevagissey news, that sells nearly everything including wine, chemist all 1 minute walk, but very quiet apart from the seagulls!

Walk the footpath to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, 1 and half miles, drive to Eden Project 8 miles, walk to Gorran Haven on the coastal path 4 miles.

The Cottage is within a short car/bus ride of Heligan Gardens (or a very pleasant walk for the fit and healthy).1.5 miles

The Eden project is 15-20 minutes drive away and a range of beautiful gardens (including Pine Lodge, Lanhydrock and Tregrehan) are within easy reach.

The Fowey ferry runs a scheduled service 7 days per week from the quay opposite the cottage (weather permitting).

Mevagissey has a range of good pubs and restaurants

Mevagissey - a magical place for your holiday. A traditional Cornish fishing village, where you can wander the narrow alleyways,

browse gift shops and art galleries, try the local ale in one of the many pubs, have a fine dinner in one of the excellent restaurants
