Situated in the verdure of the Seine Valley in Normandy and surrounded by forests, pastures and meandering streams, this manor affords modern amenities and comfort in tranquility and antiquity.
With seven bedrooms, one bathroom, one shower room and extra beds in the loft, the luminous house, mostly fitted with traditional hardwood floor, is ideal for an extended family vacation in bucolic France. Ancient chandeliers adorn the spacious living-room and dinning-room, and aged chimneys grace the above-mentioned as well as two master bedrooms. Gourmets will appreciate the kitchen equipped with gas cook tops, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher.
While the inside offers cozy repose, the gardens outside further enhance its idyllic serenity. The extensive yet secluded front garden affords amplitude for playing, reading, lounging and barbecues amidst shades and flowers, whereas the delightful back garden leads to a ping-pong room.

In the immediate surroundings, you can easily reach the Seine river, only 3 km away in the small town of Caudebec-en-Caux, where an open-air market with fantastic food available is on every Saturday morning.
For culture and history lovers, the old abbeys of Saint-Wandrille and Jumieges are quite close, as well as the riverside village of Villequier, where the memory of Victor Hugo is still very much alive. This summer, an Impressionnists festival is on all over Normandy, with world-class exhibitions in the beautiful cities of Rouen, Caen and Le Havre. And for whoever misses big city life, Paris is only a two-hours drive away, or 90 minutes by train from Yvetot.
The seaside is just 40 km away. With a 45 minutes drive, you can reach the famous seaside town of Etretat, with its fantastic white cliffs. The incredible old city of Rouen, with its Tudor houses and the souvenir of Joan of Arc, is 30 minutes away. A little over an hour, you can reach the D-day beaches or the Bayeux Tapestry, and even Monet's house in Giverny.
