Loch Ness is famous the world over for its monster and thousands of people visit every year in the hope of catching a glimpse. However, there are more reasons to stay here as we provide a central point for touring the Northern Highlands of Scotland with day trips to the islands of Skye in the west or Orkney in the north being a possibility or you can simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
We are situated in a rural area about 1000 feet above Loch Ness - the lodges are reached by a private tarred road and there is the chance of seeing pine martens, roe deer, hares and rabbits - if you are lucky the occasional fox or badger may also be around and there are always birds.
