This is a small one-bedroom house in the town of Broxburn just 7 miles west of Edinburgh Airport.
It is a great base to explore Scotland. It is just 5 miles to the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena, EICA, and is on a direct bus route to the famous pandas in Edinburgh Zoo.
It is a great location for visitors to the Highland Show at Inglston and for viewing Blackness Castle and the two bridges of the Forth. For walkers, cyclists, runners, rowers and paddlers the house is just 200 yards from Port Buchan on the Union Canal. The canal and its towpath take you right into the centre of Edinburgh or you can go west to the historic town of Linlithgow.
The house is for up to 3 persons but we can accept one additional infant if you have your own travel cot.. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a small sofa-bed in the living room. On the ground floor is the entrance hall and bathroom. Upstairs is living room, kitchen and bedroom with double bed.
There is electric heating, cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave, TV.
The town has lots of shops and takeaway food outlets in walking distance.
The buses are approximately 3 per hour to Edinburgh or to the fantastic shopping centre in nearby Livingston.
The nearest rail station is Uphall Station about two miles.

This town is just west of Edinburgh airport and is very near EICA, Edinburgh International Climbing Centre.
Whether you're in the mood for a gentle stroll or something a little more taxing, the surrounding area won't disappoint. Saunter along the canal side, take a walk through our woodlands and country parks or set your sights a little higher. The views from the Bathgate Hills are worth the hike, and the Pentland Hills offer more than 100km of signposted trails to explore.
THere are more than adequate shops and eating places in the town if you are here for a short stay but if you want to do some serious shopping go to nearby Livingstone with its modern shops and outlets.
