Enjoying a wonderfully idyllic and rural setting near the picturesque village of Gayle, this property is perfect for large groups and families wishing to get away from it all. Beaming with character and fully refurbished in 2011, the accommodation is spread over two floors, with the ground floor benefiting from under floor heating and a cosy lounge with wood burning stove, wifi access and a double sofa bed. There is also a spacious and beautifully presented farmhouse style kitchen/diner with separate utility room, a double bedroom with super king size bed (which can be made into a twin upon request) and a separate wet room on the ground floor. The further four bedrooms and second bathroom are located on the first floor, briefly comprising of three doubles (two with king size bed and one with en-suite) and a final bedroom with two single beds and two pull-out beds beneath. Guests can also enjoy the fully enclosed patio to the rear and seating area to the front of the property, complete with BBQ and herb garden with a good variety of fresh aromatic plants.

High Bands is situated only half a mile away from the picturesque dales village of Gayle. This rural setting enables visitors to enjoy a number of excellent walking and hiking opportunities right from the doorstep of High Bands and the Pennine Way is located only two minutes away from the house. The bustling market town of Hawes is also only 1.5 miles away; with its cobbled streets, rope makers and Wensleydale Cheese factory attracting visitors all year round. The town also boasts a number of independent shops, craft workshops, tea rooms, cosy pubs and local restaurants for visitors to enjoy. Other attractions in nearby areas include the famous Asygarth falls, the Dales Countryside Museum, the Old Hawes Railway Station and the nearby Hardraw Force waterfall, all providing fun filled days out for the whole family to enjoy. Other local towns and villages which are also well worth a visit include Leyburn, Muker, Swaledale, Reeth and Low Row.
