Lovingly converted along with three other properties from a former cow byre and hayloft, this welcoming cottage boasts a cosy feel and has been thoughtfully equipped throughout. On the ground floor, a cosy lounge boasts an electric flame effect fire, whilst the separate dining room and well equipped kitchen cater well for four guests. On the first floor, the two comfortable bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, and there is also a delightful bathroom for guests to share. Also benefiting from a quiet south facing garden to the rear, guests can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the summer months.

Spillian Cottage is located in the peaceful hamlet of Appersett, close to the popular market town of Hawes. Ideal for guests with a passion for the outdoors, the areas surrounding the cottage offer an exciting number of walks, hikes, trails and scenery to be explored. A visit to Hawes is also well recommended, with its cobbled streets, rope makers and Wensleydale Cheese factory attracting visitors all year round. The town also boasts a number of independent shops, craft workshops, tea rooms, cosy pubs and local restaurants for visitors to enjoy. Other attractions in nearby areas include the famous Asygarth falls, the Dales Countryside Museum, the Old Hawes Railway Station and the nearby Hardraw Force waterfall, all providing fun filled days out for the whole family to enjoy. Attracting visitors all year round, Hawes is an excellent base for a peaceful retreat to the countryside or an action packed walking holiday, with the Pennine Way also passing through the town.
