"Shellseekers" named after the book by Rosamunde Pilcher, is a 2-bedroomed apartment on the first floor of an attractive building, once part of the Cable & Wireless training school. It's situated in the picturesque valley of Porthcurno approx 400 yards from one of the most spectacular beaches in the country. The white sand is made up almost entirely of tiny, 30,000 year old seashells which extend well below the water line, giving the sea a bright turquoise colour.
This area boasts a stunning coastline, unspoilt fishing villages, sheltered coves, rugged moorland, and; warmed by the Gulf Stream, a mild climate. Shellseekers is just ¼ mile from the famous open air Minack Theater. Land's End and the sandy, surfing beach at Sennen Cove are just 3 miles away. Porthcurno beach cafe and the Cable Station Inn are within easy walking distance.
Shellseekers has a contemporary feel. The spacious open plan living-room has a fitted kitchen with dining area. Guests can enjoy use of the all-weather tennis courts across the road. There are two allocated parking spaces.
Escape the hustle and bustle and indulge in water sports, walking the coastal path, bird watching, the lively arts scene, visiting sub-tropical gardens and eating fabulous food. Wonder at England's most westerly point, Land's End, enjoy a performance at the Minack Theater, which uses the ocean as a backdrop, or venture across the causeway to St. Michael's Mount. Choose to do everything or nothing!

We are spoilt for choice - we have beautiful sandy beaches and some excellent attractions. In the recent Cornwall Tourism Awards, 3 attractions within a nine mile radius of Penzance won gold, silver and bronze. The Porthcurno Telegraph museum won gold, Geevor Tin Mine won silver and the Penlee Art Gallery won silver. The award winning Minack Open Air Theatre is in Porthcurno. St. Michael's Mount is in Penzance. Surfing, swimming, windsurfing and kite-surfing are all available in the area.
Porthcurno is 6 miles from Penzance, the largest town in the area. Penzance has a mainline train station and the boat connecting with the Isles of Scilly leaves from there. There are some excellent restaurants and some very good independent shops.
