The Puglia/Molise region

Puglia has wonderful landscapes, seascapes and is a combination of hilltop towns with sun-bleached beaches and coastal villages bordering the Adriatic Sea.

Farming and Fishing are the main occupations and it is a a foodies and wine buffs paradise. Fresh seafood, the best olives, olive oil, grapes, tomatoes, eggplants, artichokes, peppers, salami, mushrooms and the local Puglia wines are to be enjoyed in all resturants.

Not surprising that with some of Italy's best food and wines, it is the place where the Italians have a holiday. In July and August Puglia is alove with festivals (most involving food), concerts and events.
