Fishing at the cottage - The lake at Ruston Reaches offers family orientated and recreational fishing, the paths around the Silverfish Lake are mown weekly between Spring and Autumn.
Next Door - St Georges Fishery - The lake at St Georges Fishery next door is a top class general specimen lake with very large roach, rudd, perch and bream which run to double figures, large tench and carp. There is a charge to fish this lake paid to St Georges Fishery.
Bait and tactics
Silverfish Lake: waggler with luncheon meat or fish maggots
Carp Lake: pole or waggler with meat, corn or pellet
In winter, we recommend a small feeder with maggot or single grain or corn for both lakes.
