The cottage benefits from an open plan living space with beautiful kitchen with central island, living area with a cosy woodburning stove and a light dining space overlooking the patio to the rear. Hornby Castle is within sight and a delightful old country house, dating back to the fourteenth century with many additions and renovations throughout the years. The estate is around 850 acres with red deer and bison grazing on the site, often visible from the cottage. The patio area to the rear provides a quiet and sheltered south facing area to enjoy in the summer months.

Leyburn is a bustling market town with Friday market in the centre, and a wide variety of good pubs, restaurants and shops. For those with an interest in historic buildings, the ruins of Middleham Castle, Castle Bolton and Richmond Castle are worth a visit. An ideal base for discovering the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.
