Being beautifully appointed and located in Snowdonia National Park, Clawdd Gwyn is a very special place. It is a situated on a hillside above Llanrwst just north of Betws Y Coed. It has an incredible panorama overlooking the Conwy valley with the Clwyd Hills beyond.
It is easily accessible being only 20 minutes away from the main A55 North Wales coast road. Despite this it remains very private and secluded set in nearly 2 acres of lawn and woodland with one boundary a stream & waterfalls. To the front of the property is a full length terrace made up of Welsh slate - a perfect place to sit and catch the sunset while enjoying the views.
The Cottage was built over 300 years ago, and despite being extensively modernised and refurbished it continues to portray all the beautiful charm of a traditional Welsh country cottage.
It has 3 large bedrooms (one on the ground floor), all having their own private en suite facilities, with one of the rooms being especially suited to families as it has a king-sized bed as well as 2 single beds in an adjoining ante room.
Ideally located for visiting Snowdonia whether it is for walking, climbing or simply sightseeing. The cottage is also perfectly situated for mountain biking with the world class Marin Trail being practically on its doorstep, and the Penmachno Trail being a very short drive away.
