The Cortijo Roman is a beautiful traditional andalucian farmstead which has been restored and converted into 4 separate houses and cottages. Situated in 8 hectares of wild flower meadows the Cortijo is surrounded by colourful scented flower gardens and patios.
Casa Morera is part of the original farmhouse and has been sympathetically converted into a spacious two bedroom house with high wooden-beamed ceilings and clay-tiled floors. The house has both a master and a twin bedrooms, bathroom and a comfortable, spacious open plan living room and kitchen. These open onto a large patio, garden and BBQ area where guests can relax and enjoy the warm flower-scented evenings and views across the meadow to the village of Jimena de la Frontera with its castle at the top. Passing through lush gardens guests will find the large swimming pool with its romantic night-time lighting.

Beyond the town, the mountains of the Alcornocales Natural Park unfold into the distance. The Park is famous for its untouched habitat, abundance of wild flowers and many species of birds. You can walk into the park from the Cortijo (farm) or drive west through the mountains and into its heart. Driving north you join the famous Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos (White Towns Route) passing through many of the scenic, hilltop Frontera (frontier) villages with their castles. The location of the Cortijo makes it ideal for day trips to Seville, Cadiz, Jerez, Ronda or across the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco.
Both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts are less than an hour's drive south of the Cortijo. There you can find a wide variety of water sports and other activities as well as beautiful quiet coves and bays. You will have the choice of over twenty-five golf courses, various aqua parks and other theme parks. And, within and hour's drive, you will find a wide selection of restaurants, night life and the renowned shopping facilities of Marbella, Soto Grande and the Costa del Sol
