Both bedrooms have wardrobes and drawers to accommodate your clothing. The lounge has a settee and a sofa bed plus a dining table which will seat 4 if you want to eat inside. There is also a small kitchen inside with a 4 ring electric hob,a fridge, combi microwave oven and an electric multi -cooker.The shower room has a shower cabinet with massage function, a wash hand basin and a toilet. This is in a quiet residential area off the Boulevard Gambetta. There is an excellent selection of local shops and supermarkets. You are also close to bus routes to and from the airport and to other areas of Nice. If you want to explore further then it is easy to pick up buses to Cannes, Monaco, St Paul de Vence, Grasse etc taking advantage of the one euro bus fares. The railway station is approx a 15 minute walk away with Vieux Nice and the Cours Saleya a 20 minute walk away. The zone pietonne with it's many restaurants is 10 minutes away.

The property is off the vibrant Boulevard Gambetta. For those who want to cook there is a local market and several specialist food shops. For those who don't there are restaurants bars and bakeries to cater for all needs. For a special occasion the Negresco hotel with it's renowned restaurant is 5 minute walk away. The beach is 300 yards away with it's summer selection of watersports, children's play area and bars.Locally there are stands to hire bicycles for a leisurely cycle along the seafront or further afield on the designated cycle paths. Come in February for the famous Carnival and battle of the flowers. Combine Carnival with a day's skiing in Auron or Isola, both just over an hour away by local bus. Easter has temperatures around 55 degrees wonderful for walks along the coastal paths and Cap Ferat or discover the wonderful views from the hills between Nice and Villefranche
May is of course the Cannes film festival andthe Monaco Grand Prix. June to September make use of all the beach equipment and enjoy the swimming. If you aren't a beach person use the wonderful bus service to explore inland or just browse the Cours Saleya. Monday is antique day the rest of the week is the famous flower and produce market all just a 20 minute stroll away.
Nice is 20 kilometers from Monaco and 25 from Cannes. In the summer there is a daily boat excursion to St Tropez. Italy, famous for it's leather goods is but 40 minutes away either by car or local train. Visit the hilltop village of Eze and see the spectacular views over Cap Ferat. Travel inland to Grasse for the perfumeries, Vence for the Chagall mosaic in the church,or St Paul de Vence for the art galleries and the famous Colomb d'Or restaurant where famous artists used their work to pay their accounts. Explore Nice with it's Chagall and Matisse art galleries, or the splendid Russian cathedral. Do a walking tour of Vieux Nice and the chateau hill to learn how Nice was Italian until 150 years ago. Take a break in Corsica there are daily flights and ferries.For something special book a helicopter transfer from Nice airport to Monaco where you can walk the Grand Prix route or visit the oceanography museum. In the port of Nice try scuba diving at one of the diving schools. Hike the hills of parc Mercantour. Take the train des Pignes inland.It really is all here.
