**Please Note: the NEW Holiday Lettings nightly pricing & tariff calculator displayed to the right, calculates nightly rates by taking the weekly tariff rate and dividing it by 7. This nightly rate is misrepresented, as it does not take into account Short Break Percentages explained in the Tariff Notes section below. Sadly we have no control over this new trend towards nightly 'hotel-style' pricing so please get in touch and we will be happy to help you further.**

The South East England region

Faversham dates back to Roman times and also features in the Doomsday Book. A market town of considerable beauty situated in the Kent Downs.

The whole area benefits from easy access to the Kent coast and the coastal wetlands as well as to London. Excellent Rail, Road, and Sea links and an area of truly outstanding natural beauty make this a wonderful place to visit.

An excellent base for exploring local leisure activities and places of interest, from country houses and gardens to the UK's oldest brewery and from the national fruit collection to internationally important nature reserves.

Well signposted walks abound in this part of Kent showing to full effect the outstanding countryside.

Faversham Golf Club, Belmont Park, Faversham, Kent ME13 0HB

Nestling in rolling unspoilt Kent countryside Faversham is quite simply one of the loveliest golf courses in the south east of England. Complementing its beautiful surroundings Faversham has all you would expect from a long established parkland course with manicured tree lined fairways well conditioned and maintained tees and greens and imaginatively sculptured holes. The hurricane in 1987 had a devastating effect on the woodland on and surrounding the course but it has now regained its splendour. The impressive new Clubhouse built in 1997 has added to its attraction. It is an ideal course for golfers of all abilities to learn and develop their game. Indeed its challenges have set some of its members on the path to fame and fortune with former European Tour Player Roger Chapman and Solheim Cup Captain Mickey Walker both having honed their skills here.

Kent is a county in South East England, and one of the home counties. It borders East Sussex, Surrey and Greater London and has a defined boundary with Essex in the middle of the Thames Estuary. The ceremonial county boundaries of Kent include the shire county of Kent and the unitary borough of Medway.

The historic county of Kent has something which will appeal to everyone. It is steeped in history and known world wide as the 'Garden of England' due to the wealth of hop gardens and orchards in the area.

There are numerous water-sport activities on offer and the beautiful coastline has an array of award winning beaches.

Places of interest and attractions to visit include animal parks, castles, cathedrals, churches, historic houses, maritime heritage, museums, steam trains and much, much more.
