Langholme Mill is set in an acre of award winning gardens just ten minutes from Coniston Water. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation with a wealth of original features including a feature fireplace in the lounge. Both bedroom one and two are located on the ground floor which may be of benefit to those with restricted mobility whilst the American styled kitchen will please any amateur cooks in the party. The owners have taken great care in providing a relaxing outdoor environment in the acre of mature gardens which surround the property. This includes a stream with an attractive wooden bridge and large mature bushes and trees. Langholme Mill is a delightful dog friendly cottage just three miles from Greenodd where there are a small number of amenities with more at Ulverston, seven miles away.

Bedroom 3: With double bed and TV. Bedroom 4: With twin beds and delightful ornamental fireplace. Both of these bedrooms have access to a 'jack and jill' bathroom (i.e. accessed from either room to create an en-suite), with bath, hand basin, heated towel rail and W.C.

Langholme Mill Cottage has oil fired central heating and a log burning stove and comprises: Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, gas hob, American style fridge/freezer,  dishwasher and microwave. Utility area:  For drying and storage with washing machine and tumble dryer. Spacious lounge: With feature stone fireplace housing an open fire (fuel available locally), colour TV, video and DVD. Bedroom 1: With double bed and pretty co-ordinating linens and TV. Bedroom 2: With double bed and TV. Shower room: With shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels provided. Cot and highchair available. 3 well behaved pets welcome. Internet access.

The Lake District National Park lies at the heart of Cumbria and contains well known and much loved holiday destinations such as Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside, Coniston and Grasmere, here there are lots of charming Lakeland villages to discover and visitor attractions for all the family. The northern and western lakes have miles of untouched natural rugged beauty and rural villages as well as being home to the historic northern lakes town of Keswick with its many shops, pubs and restaurants; providing a great holiday base. Coniston

Nestling at the head of Coniston Water, the pretty village of Coniston is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lake District National Park and makes a superb base for touring, with Hawkshead, Ambleside and Windermere just a short drive away. Superb walking, mountain biking and climbing is available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. For water sports enthusiasts the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the beautiful steam yacht ‘Gondola'.
