"In an English Country Garden" the song could have been written for Jasmine Cottage. Roses around the door, a thatched roof, and an established rear garden. The cottage is tucked away in the lovely village of Burton Bradstock, well known for the attractive stone cottages that are a feature of Dorset. The mystical river that skirts the side of the local church is well worth a visit. Nearby Hive Beach offers a well reputed cafe serving excellent cuisine and the Jurrasic World Heritage coastline is excellent for fossil hunters, the cliff top walks along the Coast Path are some of the finest in England. The village offers choice of two pubs serving a wide range of food; there is a also small shop and Post Office for basic provisions. A 10 minute car drive will take you into picturesque West Bay with its attractive harbour that offers sanctuary for the local fishing boats. Dorset has some wonderful areas to visit. A drive to historic Abbotsbury is highly recommended, after you have explored the village and you have paid a visit to the sub-tropical gardens and Swannery, you can journey along the coast road which spans the whole of the Chesil beach and view the breathtaking coastline from the top of Abbotsbury Hill. At the end of your holiday when you return home you will carry with you lovely memories of magnificent Dorset and your holiday at Jasmine.
