Roxby is an attractive bungalow which sits on the banks of the river that runs into the northern edge of Ullswater. Located close to the village of Pooley Bridge but within its own secluded setting it offers a group of five private holiday accommodation in a peaceful part of Lakeland. The lounge has patio doors out to its attractive garden where wildlife abounds from the banks of the river and the woodland behind. All its rooms are immaculately decorated and caters for everyone's needs with useful storage in the bedrooms and a separate dining room for spending quality time with friends or family whilst enjoy good food. Fishing and canoeing can be enjoyed from the banks of the river whilst the village, 200 meters away has a shop, pub and restaurant. You can also pick up the Ullswater Steamer from here which takes you to some of the villages which sit on the lake's shores.

Ullswater, with its nine mile stretch of meandering waters, is a haven for walkers, watersports and wildlife and around the lake the picturesque villages offers a welcome break from the great outdoors, with superb tea rooms and historical buildings to explore. To the North the more peaceful area of Caldbeck Fells offers a quieter day out and just 12 miles to the west the town of Keswick houses a wealth of amenities and shops. A visit to the nearby Rheged centre is a must for both adults and children with shops, cinema and craft centre.
