Dapping Lodge was formerly used as a fishing and shooting lodge by the French aristocracy and therefore oozes character and charm, with each room enjoying glorious views of Lough Corrib and its islands. The landscaped gardens offer walks on different terrace levels, to capture the glorious views over the lake and surrounding countryside. The secluded private boat jetty can accommodate 2 fishing boats which can be rented nearby. The owner of the property can arrange this for you at a cost of €40 per day Please contact him directly. This jetty area is ideal for picnics and swimming. Fishing and shooting (in season) are very popular in the area and experienced gillies are available to book. The bar in the property may be stocked, including barrels, by arrangement with a local publican who shall be more than willing to accommodate all needs, at very realistic prices and local supermarkets shall also deliver by arrangement.
