Further details

The spectacular views are complimented by the many streams cascading down the mountains. Ballyhoura is an area of undulating green pastures, hills and mountains providing the walker with a variety of walks and delightful woodland trails.

The Province of Munster region

The house is at the foot of Carricknabinna peak (Galtee Mountains) The Galtee Mountains are Ireland's largest inland mountain range, with corrie lakes and magnificent peaks, the largest of which is Galteemore 3,018 ft (further along to the left of the cottage).

The house nestles in the valley a mile from the main road and 4 miles from Galbally, 14 miles from Tipperary bordering Limerick and Cork. The bumpy track is so worth the journey flanked on one side by the Galtee Mountains and on the other by the Glen of Aherlow it is really spectacular. Inside is beautifully designed with the living area on the first floor to make the most of the awesome views. Secluded and peaceful ideal for walkers and climbers with close access to the Ballyhoura way.

A one mile track into the property can be bumpy so drive in first gear but views and property are so worth the journey.
