Beautiful house located in the south of Puglia, exactly in Marina di Leuca (called also Santa Maria di Leuca, or simply Leuca), a lovely bathing resort in the south east of Italy, at the confluence of the Mediterranean and the Ionian Sea, 110 km away from Greece and almost the same from Calabria.
The house, despite being in a place where the sea is beautiful (sand and rocks beaches), is located in open countryside, just 1.5km from the coast and totally surrounded by unspoiled Mediterranean Nature (in the immediate vicinity there are olive, almond, fig trees, etc.)..
A truly small paradise.
The house consists of two bedrooms (the arrangement of the beds is flexible), two bathrooms, dining room with kitchenette, other small passage room (which if necessary can be used as additional bedroom), large paved outdoor area where it's possible to eat, under a new wooden porch. You can park car(s) here or in a private open space zone.
For large groups or if you desire more privacy / convenience, you can also rent the annex building, that is a nice "Trullo" completely renovated inside (now it's a bedroom), plus another bathroom (the third).
If you rent it, you won’t regret it!

Situated in the southeastern part of Italy, Salento is the name of the most southern area of Puglia, from which, however, differs in history, culture and linguistics.
Salento includes administratively all the province of Lecce and part of the province of Brindisi and Taranto.
Here there are, without exaggeration, 300 days of sun in a year!
These conditions, together with a fantastic nature and unspoilt coastline making it an ideal holiday destination for families and experienced travelers alike: a little piece of heaven.
In spring and autumn (but also in winter), the pace is slow (someone says that this is the Jamaica of Italy!), you can take long walks or cycling through the quiet countrysides, or on the uncrowded coastal roads.
In the summer, the nightlife comes on and the area turns, proliferating of disco bars, clubs, restaurants, ice cream parlours, shops, etc..
If "Salento area" is located in the souteastern area of Italy, Leuca (called also Santa Maria di Leuca, or Marina di Leuca) is exactly on the heel!
Just a 5 minute stroll from "Villetta del Sole" you can find excellent restaurants that will delight you with delicious dishes based on fish or vegetables typical of the Salento.
However, the strength of the area is the beauty of the coast (here there are rock and sand beaches, free and not).
Many things to do in the area: visit the caves with numerous boats available in the marina, admire the spectacular nature, take in the sights (churches, towers, ancient manor farms, etc.).
If you're still not convinced, a legend says that Our Lady appeared in the past and she has said: "Blessed is the man who will come to see me!", referring to the statue of the Virgin Mary inside the Basilica of Leuca.
One more reason to visit the first landing place of Aeneas and Saint Peter in Italy!
