Dover has a beautiful seafront with pier where seals try to snatch the anglers catch and after your walk along viewing fantastic scenery there is a good cafe at the end; factory outlet shopping and Dover Castle. Deal is steeped in history and unspoilt with pier that has cafe/restaurant and historical St Margarets village has many pubs/restaurants with popular scenic walks across the White Cliffs of Dover. There is also the famous, secluded beautiful bay nestling at the bottom of the cliffs at St Margarets with pub/cafe/toilets and lots of history!! Foreland lighthouse with great nostalgic 1940's tearooms, museum and Pines Gardens are not to be missed! Canterbury nearby with Cathedral and lots of shopping! Close to ferry port for trips to France. Picnic on top of the White Cliffs of Dover and view France and the workings of the ferry port or walk to take in the fantastic scenery.

All Holiday Park amenities open to guests, i.e. entertainment; arcade and bars upon showing their Fun Pass. As all guests do not require the leisure/entertainment facilities, this is taken into account with the rental of the property leaving guests to pay entry as necessary.The only areas within the Holiday Park not requiring a Pass for entry are the Wine Bar and main restaurant. The Gateway to White Cliffs Country. Chalk downland on top of the cliffs with many plants and wildlife unique to the area. Close to the sea, rolling countryside with many historical features. Close to pretty historical village and secluded bay to watch the ships sail by whilst enjoying a meal/drink on the verandah of the last hostelry before France! Or enjoy a walk along the white cliffs to enjoy the spectacular scenery and visit the lighthouse and Mrs Knott's tearoom or just sit in your car and enjoy a picnic looking down on the port activities from on high. Wonderful unspoilt countryside that has so much history attached to it that many people return to explore further. Museum and Pine Gardens with tea rooms at St Margarets Bay. The climate in this south east corner of England is usually milder with less rainfall than other parts of the country. All the seaside towns in the area have their own festivals, i.e. Hythe, Folkestone, Deal, Sandwich to name but a few and details can be found online.
There are many historical venues to visit. The war time tunnels at Dover Castle where they hold weekend themed events during certain times of the year. The Castle Keep has recently been renovated and is proving very popular with visitors. Hire a kayak in Dover harbour or take a boat trip.
The Port of Dover is ideal for a trip to France and the Channel Tunnel is a short car ride away(remember your passport). The City of Canterbury with its magnificent Cathedral is 17 miles away and has attractive shops and cobbled streets. There are several golf courses nearby; horse-riding is available locally and the shore at St Margaret's Bay is ideal for fishing and investigating the numerous rock pools. The village is worth visiting for its friendly pubs and restaurants and has a shop, post office, Pines Gardens and museum. Discover the tiny lanes surrounding the village and the village duck pond!
