Set in a magical woodland setting our tent offers peace, tranquility and privacy as well as a level of comfort not normally associated with camping. Twybil is in its own woodland clearing above the fishing pond and has a private BBQ & picnic table area.
The child free atmosphere and the wildlife offer a unique atmosphere in which to unwind and relax. Our piping hot tree showers need to be experienced - particularly in the rain!
Craft courses are available for those that want to escape with a bit of green wood creativity but are by no means an essential part of the Crafty Camping experience.
Fipple has a double bed with linen, down duvet & blankets, dual control electric blanket, heated towel rail, log burning stove, reindeer skins, reading lights & electricity sockets for charging phones etc.

We are on the Dorset, Devon and Somerset border near Axminster and the Jurasic coast & Lyme Regis. We are in the area of outstanding beauty and are in a very rural countryside environment. We are about 10 miles from Bridport too.
River Cottage Canteen and River Cottage HQ are both nearby as well as the Mark Hix Restaurant and the Wild Garlic Restaurant in Beaminster. There is fossil hunting nearby on the Jurassic Coast and Forde Abbey and Gardens are just down the lane from the Crafty Camping. Electric bike tours can be arranged to explore the hills and vales in the area and craft courses can be arranged on site with owner Guy Mallinson. Guy and the site have been featured in a number of tv series including the BBC Mastercrafts series on wood craft.
