The Area - Almond Apartment is located in the centre of Beadnell; a welcoming village which has long been a popular holiday destination renowned for its Heritage Coastline with wonderful sandy beaches, rich wildlife and extensive range of quality water sports; including sailing, kite surfing, sea kayaking, kite and wind surfing and scuba diving. With Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castles to the north and Dunstanburgh, Alnwick and Warkworth castles to the south Beadnell is also well placed for walkers, cyclists and wildlife watchers to explore the Cheviot Hills, Northumberland National Park and the Borders - all within 30 minutes.
Seahouses fishing port 2 miles north is the departure point for regular boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands - a National Nature Reserve famous for its puffin, tern, cormorant and kittiwake bird sanctuaries and seal colony. Seahouses has a good range of shops, cafes, classic pubs and places to eat, fishing trips, leisure centre and a golf course. 3 miles further up the coast is the picturesque village of Bamburgh with its famous castle, long beach and quaint tea rooms.
