Station House is located only a mile away from Spenningthorne, a small village benefiting from wonderful views across Wensleydale and some fantastic river walks along the River Ure, making it an ideal destination for visitors with a passion for exploring the outdoors. The village also boasts a shop and a local pub and is situated only two miles away from the popular market town of Leyburn which has plenty by way of shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants for visitors to sample. Other local attractions include Middleham Castle, Jervaulx Abbey, Wensleydale Cheese centre and Bolton abbey, all providing exciting day trips for the whole family. The pretty market town of Hawes, Hardraw Force and the Asygarth Falls in Asygarth are also well worth a visit and a trip on the restored Wensleydale Railway is a must.
