In January 2014 Camps Heath Barn has been given a 5 star rating by Visit England, with Marsh Cottage gaining 4 stars and Gold award

The property is upside down - Marsh Cottage has an open plan 1st floor with lounge and kitchen/dining area, and stairs which lead down to shower room, a twin bedroom and also a double bedroom on the ground floor. The double bedroom has doors which open out into a small private courtyard garden.

The Cottage has free WIFI and Sky TV. There is also access to a shared utility area with washing machine and drying facilities.

Marsh Cottage provides easy access to the beautiful North Suffolk coast with its excellent beaches only 10 minutes drive away. It is set on the edge of Suffolk Wildlife nature reserve and therefore excellent walking and bird watching. Oulton Broad is only a few minutes drive away or 30 minute walk. Here you can either hire a boat or go on a river cruise, or relax in the Park. There are also cafe's, restaurants and pubs overlooking the broads.

The accommodation is available for weekly lets, weekend breaks, midweek breaks and last-minute short stays.

The living room enjoys the sunrise and morning sun with well equipped kitchen diner. Fabulous views over suffolk wildlife meadow where there are cows grazing in the summer and opposite a bowling green which can also be hired. Downstairs there is a shower and WC, two bedrooms tastefully furnished with built in cupboards the master bedroom has double doors leading to patio area. Please note that the washing machine is in a separate utility area shared with the main barn.

Car parking is found directly outside and an external staircase leads into a spacious living room and kitchen diner. The downstairs bedroom has double doors leading out to a terrace where there is a table and chairs, catching the sun. The view is of a quiet country lane, the front Barn garden and the surrounding marshes. The lane goes down to the river where a river walk can be enjoyed. Lowestoft beach is a 15 minute drive away. Oulton Broad 5min drive or 25min walk.

The East Anglia region

East Anglia is a lovely place to visit. There's so much to do; award winning beaches ,the broads, parks and country houses to visit . Camps Heath is at the bottom of the Waveney Valley and as a result, can be very warm in the summer. There are fantastic walks along river banks and public footpaths, many picturesque costal villages to visit such as Southwold ,Dunwich and Walberswick.

Oulton Broad

The barn at Dairy Farm and it's annex's is situated on the edge of Oulton Marsh, managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. The views from the barn over the nature reserve are simply breath taking, with the river Waveney and the broads only a short walk away.

Camps Heath is less than a five-minute drive from Oulton Broad. Here you will find shops, a post office, two parks, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you like river life, there are river boat trips along the Broads and River Waveney, or you can watch speed boat racing on a Thu eve during the summer. For a bit of nightlife, you could enjoy a pint at one of numerous licensed bars and pubs, or a glass of wine at the local winebar. Lowestoft is known for its award-winning beaches with golden sands stretching for miles - Gorleston Beach is also near by which is dog friendly. The local tourist board is situated on the seafront, and offers a wide range of information. Somerleyton Hall, Suffolk Wildlife Park and Pleasurewood Hills are also close by.
