In the heart of Montmartre you will discover acharming little studio for 2 people, located between neighbourhoods Pigalle and Abbesses. On the calm street rue Berthe just down the road from Rue Lepic and by the famous shop of Amélie Poulain. In addition to its touristic and historic appeal, the neighbourhood is particularly appreciated for its “village” atmosphere, full of traditional galleries, shops, music bars and restaurants that make it one of the liveliest and friendliest areas in Paris. Le Bateau Lavoir, which hosted famous artists (Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Guillaume Apollinaire ...) and Place du Tertre, the center of the old village of Montmartre are all nearby.
You will stay 200m far from the metro station Abbesses (line 12). You can access to Basilica Sacré Coeur in 5 minutes: it is located 300 meters far from the apartment. The studio is a few minutes by walk from all the famous Montmartre sites (Moulin Rouge, Sacré Coeur, Place du Tertre, Café des 2 Moulins, Pigalle, rue Lepic, …) and from the public transports (only 5 minutes far from metro Abbesses or metro Pigalle). You will be able to reach the Champs Elysées in 15 minutes, and the Louvres museum in 25 minutes.
Doing my best for guests to feel comfortable from the first until the last day of their trip, the time for check- in and check-out is flexible and it is discussed with each tourist individually.
The amount of the deposit is 100 euro, tourists get it back on the day of their check-out if the apartment is given back in the same state as it was on the day of check-in.
Me or my husband we always meet and say goodbye to our guests personally.
If our guests need we can provide them with a second key of the apartment.
Guests can contact me at any time during their stay if they need anything.
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. But there is a courtyard where you may feel free to smoke.
Paris has always been one of the major tourist destinations in Europe. Paris is known for its famous buildings and works of art, its chic fashion scene and its modern literary, artistic, and intellectual ideals, and is a must for anyone wishing to experience the best of both contemporary and age old European culture. If you have limited time, make sure to go to the area north of the river, the Rive Droite, to see the tree-lined Avenue des Champs Elysees, running west from the Arc de Triomphe. East of the avenue is the Musee du Louvre, the Centre Georges Pompidou and a lively district of museums, shops, markets and restaurants. Immediately south of the Pompidou Centre on the Ile de la Cite is Notre Dame Cathedral. If you still have time, head west along the river and you will find the city's trademark, the Eiffel Tower. If you are intrigued by Paris' famous academic, artistic and intellectual enclave, the Saint Germain de Pres and Montparnasse districts are located just to the east. You will enjoy the neighborhood and sightseeing on Montmartre. It is a charming place with very friendly atmosphere. Monmartre is a historic hill at an altitude of 130 meters in Paris and is crowned by the Sacre Coeur Basilica. It has always been connected with culture and trends and has many cafes and studios of many great artists.
