Blue Anchor Bay is a perfect base to explore this spectacular area, with National Trust proporties including Selworthy, Dunster Castle & grounds.

Watchet harbour. Minehead with Butlins to visit as day visitors, Lynton & Lynmouth & also the whole of Exmoor for picnics, horse riding, or just relax on site & watch the West Somerset Steam Railway chug right past the park!

The pace is slow & peaceful,there is an indoor pool to help you unwind an adventure play area & crazy golf & nature trail to keep the kids enterained.Two minutes along there is a great cafe,just right for that early breakfast.

Two very good local pubs nearby both with excellent food, The Smugglers & The Blue Anchor Inn.In Porlock The Royal Oak serves a very good Sunday Carvary.

From the sea wall you can watch the local fishermen & dodge the high tide sea waves & they splash over the sea wall!!! The area around including Blue Anchor Bay has an excellent night sky.Ideal for STAR gazing & the odd glass of local cider!!!!!!!!11/12 July has a Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends at West Somerset Steam Railway in Minehead weekend. These dates are still available!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lounge has a 2 seater sofa + 2 chairs ,a good selection of books & puzzles for your enjoyment .There is a new 32" TV with DVD and a separate CD player,also a large selection of DVDswith many new releases.The dining area has the wrap around seating with 2 stools.

The kitchen is very well equiped with various pots pans crockery & cutlery.May 2014 the fridge was replaced with a fridge freezer.

The twin bedrooms has wardrobs & shelf space & mirror.The main bedroom has a large wardrobe, shelf area & mirror & includes a flat screen TV

There is a large shower room with hand basin & toilet.Showers, toilets & a launderette can also be found on site.

The caravan comes with bed linen& beds made up Toilet rolls ,kitchen towels,wash up liquid,a welcome tea,coffee,sugar ,milk& biscuits & local newspaper.

I do ask that you bring your own towels & tea towels.

Use of an iron & board is available in the laundrette.Free.

On the decking, which is to the front & side,are 6 chairs a table & 1 lounger.A wooded bench has been added.There is a lockable gate,small children can play within the decking area & be safe.

The adventure play area has the climbing frame zip line & smaller children's swings & seesaw.

There is a large area for football

This area is safe regularly checked & locked at night.

Bed linen is supplied & beds made up prior to your holiday. Toilet rolls & kitchen towels & wash up liquid, you will find in the kitchen.

Please bring your own towels & tea towels.

The welcome tray includes tea coffee milk sugar biscuits & local newspaper.

Each year Minehead hold a Raft Race.The expert rowers start from Blue Anchor Bay & the fun ones from just outside Minehead

The evening finishes with a fireworks display & its all free.This happens in August.
