This spacious home with lots of privacy, features a large sunny, south facing screened swimming pool with shaded lanai. The benefits of this is maximum amount of sun (which is especially important during the winter months, when north-facing homes lose the sun at around 2pm in the afternoon). The deck area around the Pool has lots of space to relax, eat, BBQ, or sunbathe.
The well-appointed kitchen is light and overlooks the large nook and family great room, giving you lots of options for entertaining.
The covered and shaded lanai will extend your outdoor entertaining. When you need more intimate space, there's a separate living room with fireplace and a formal dining room. Three secondary bedrooms give you lots of choices for visitors, while the owner's suite is tucked away by itself with three closets, his and her vanities, garden tub, and separate shower, making it a home-away-from-home.

The house has an enclosed lania with beautiful kidney shaped pool and pool heater for those colder months, although the pools on Site, the Lagoon pool and Lap pool are both heated during the cooler months. Master bedroom, Great Room and Breakfast Dining all overlook the pool and waterway views.

Enjoy the bright spacious lounge with large sliding doors opening out to the lanai and deck area, or you can relax in the family room which also has access to the deck area.
For those not familiar with the Florida Villas, especially down south, this home is of modern construction (not wood) and therefore has the most modern facilities with upto date airconditioning, and is on mains water, not well water which is usually yellow or brown, so no need to buy bottled water as the large american fridge will dispense fresh filtered cold water and ice.
Indoor eating can be in the breakfast nook which overlooks the lanai and pool, or for more formal occasions the dining room, which is beautifully furnished offers a wonderful and relaxing dining experience. The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar has a fridge/freezer, cooker with built-in microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron everything you could ever need!
The master bedroom with fabulous king size bed has sliding doors opening out directly onto the pool deck. The luxury en-suite his and hers, has a large tub (bath), huge walk-in shower with separate vanity units and two toilets. In addition to His and Her mirrored wardrobes there is also a large walk-in wardrobe. A spacious 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, mirrored wardrobes and it's own bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds, mirrored wardrobes and again it's own bathroom.

The large pool deck facing South-West overlooks one of the many large lakes that surround the site and enjoys the sun from sunrise to sunset. There is plenty of room around the pool for relaxing and sunbathing on the sun loungers provided. The Lanai (covered area part of the pool deck) offers a cool shaded area to relax and has dining table with 6 chairs. There is additional circular pit table with 4 further chairs.
Relax and watch spectacular sunsets after a long day in the sun. Provided is a gas barbecue and there is an option for the colder months to have the pool electrically heated. For additional safety there are child safety nets/guards available which can be erected around the pool. For showering after swimming, there is a door out from the pool deck leading to one of the many bathrooms.
The double-garage has electrically opening door & holds an assortment of beach equipment for guest use like Deck Chairs, Umbrella, shark tooth finder net, surf boards, pool noodles, cooler box etc
Shops are 3 minutes away, with 3 supermarkets Walmarts, Publixs, Sweetbay, Books a million, Johannes, etc. all being located in this area. Glorious Beaches are 12 minutes. Excellent Golf Courses on your door-step. 5 mins to the Driving Range, So the Ladies can shop whilst you practice your 'Golfing Skills'! There is a fabulous range of restaurants available in the area to suit all tastes but within 5 mins you can get to 'Outback', 'Bob Evans', 'Chillies', 'Abblebies' Wendy's, Panda Express, and many many more.
At the beaches and closeby you will find a wealth of wild life including manatees, dolphins, pelicans, osprey and many more, visit the , state parks, go golfinging and fishing, sailing and diving, kayaking, canoeing all within the area.

A holiday here can be as active or relaxing as you want to make it. There are more than 30 golf courses with 15-30 minutes drive of the home, Plantation Golf, Sarasota National are all on the door step
The area boasts world class fresh and salt water fishing along with unlimited boating opportunities. Hire a boat and explore the intercoastal waterways down to Fort Myers or up to Sarasota stopping off at uninhabited islands on the way. Alternatively, charter a boat with a skipper to take you out into the Gulf of Mexico to catch Marlin and watch sunsets to die for.
There are many nature reserves and state parks in the area, like the Myakka State Park & Myakka River and you can take river boat trips up the Peace River to see the wonderful flora and fauna.
North of Venice is Sarasota, South is Port Charlotte. Venice sits between Tampa and Naples. In Sarasota visit the wonderful Ringling Museum and the Marine Centre, and for designer shopping visit the boutiques surrounding St Armands Square. Visit the Shopping malls of Sarasota and Port Charlotte or for outlet shopping visit the Ellenton Mall on the way to Tampa.
The island off Fort Myers and the elegant town of Naples to the south are well worth a visit. Just south of Naples you are in the Everglades.

Venice has the perfect weather and temperatures for all outdoor activities which is what makes Central Florida the ideal place to stay.
Recently the "Siesta Key" beach was named No.1. beach in the USA - it's a 25 minutes drive. Obvioulsy, there are beaches close by and within 10 minutes drive.
For the Golf enthusiast there is Plantation Golf - 2 courses, the Bob Cat and The Panther; There is Jacaranda West: Capri Isle: Sable Trace: Sarasota National: a driving range, within 5 minutes, and an abundance of other Golf Courses right on the doorstep. There are many places to eat including the famouse Sharky's on the Pier, The Crow's Nest Restaurant which nests right on Venice Jetties inlet so you can dine and enjoy the sunset over the Gulf. (Please book during peak season times), Many well known restaurants are within 5 minutes drive including The Outback, Bob Evans, Applebee's and Chilli's, all are just down the road.
Fancy a trip to Orlando and Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios with its new Hogwarts and Harry Potter rides.... is less than 2 hours drive - or visit Busch Gardens (70min), maybe the Kennedy Space Center, or drive south to the Eddison Museum and Fishermans Wharf for shopping and dining both in Punta Gorda. Drive North for the Ringling Museum and the Ripely's "Believe it or not" Museum...... the Dali Museum up at St Petes, so....... much to see and visit.
A 30 min drive South to historic Punta Gorda known internationally for it's boating and yachting events, is home to the Eddison Museum and holds each month all types of festivals and concerts. If you are visiting at Christmas go and see the Festive Chrismas Lighting display.
