The longest shopping street Avenida Santa Fe is around the corner.You find restaurants which are open 24/7,bars cinema all in small walking distance.Shopping malls like Alto Palermo and Buenos Aires Design are in walking distance and neighbor district Palermo is with a firm walk or by bus/taxi great to do.At Avenida Corientes(broadway of Buenos Aires) you have all kind of theatre and musical performances to choose for(small taxi drive from the apt)The ferry terminal is about 15minutes from the apartment(Buquebus/Seacat) Coloniaexpress is a bit further.

Restaurants Teatro and Como en Casa are nice to pay a visit(around the corner in Rio Bamba).Sunday go to San Telmo to see tango and the antique market.Ayt Avenida Santa Fe you have Ateneo the splendid book/cd store a must see as well Galeria Pacifico in the micro center.
Parque Ecológico and the Botanical garden are great green escapes.
From the train statio Retiro you can go to the delta Parana/Tigre....nice train ride and you can hop off at one of the small stations on the way and at the end you can book a seat on a catamaran which goes into the delta.
