Trulli Marchione is a beautifully restored Trulli with WiFi and a private pool nestled in the countryside, but very close to the town of Castellana Grotte. It is in a great location where you get the best of both worlds. It is far enough from the madding crowd but at the same time it is centrally and conveniently located in close proximity to town, beach and key tourist attractions.
The owner has furnished the Trulli to a high standard with modern décor and facilities, yet keeping the traditional feel of a countryside Trulli. The Trulli has three en suite bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms and one bedroom that can be a twin or further double bedroom. The Trulli has the added benefit of air conditioning. There is a comfortable open plan Living room with dining, and the kitchen has all the modern amenities needed to make your stay comfortable. Upon your arrival at Trulli Marchione you will find a selection of cold drinks and snacks.
The doors from the living area opens out on to a shaded terrace with dining and Barbeque with access to the swimming pool. For families with small children the main door can be locked and the pool is gated on three sides.

Puglia, or Apulia as it is also known, is an undiscovered region in Southern Italy in the heel of Italy's boot, rich in heritage and culture with picturesque historical towns, castles, churches and architectural masterpieces, breathtaking scenery, beautiful coastlines, traditional food, wines and olive oils.
With a Mediterranean climate and long hot summers it is an ideal place to visit all year round. There are so many things to experience and discover that a holiday in Puglia will be truly memorable.
Puglia is world famous for its Trulli, circular dwellings with conical shaped roofs dating back to before 16th century. They have become a national monument and are protected by UNESCO. Alberobello the capital town of the Trulli is now a world heritage site and is home to over 1500 Trulli. There are many other fascinating towns to visit in the area, all with charming historical centres.
Experience the winding streets of Ostuni "the White City", the charm of Cisternino; the baroque architecture of Martina Franca; the famous cuisine of Ceglie Messapica; the magical caves of Castellana Grotte; the breathtaking cliffs of Polignano a Mare; the Roman ruins at Egnazia near Fasano; the marine nature park at Torre Guaceto and other fabulous beaches; the colourful history of the major ports of Brindisi and Bari; the stunning beauty of Lecce "the Florence of the South"
Castellana Grotte is famous for its Caves. This spectacular network of caves with Stalagmites and Stalatites have been carved out by underground streams over many centuries. Castellana Grotte is also a buzzing little country town and because the caves are on the edge of town it means that in high season it is not packed with day trippers.
The UNESCO World Heritage town of Alberobello is the next town along and is famous for the Trulli that are unique to Puglia and can be seen dotted around the coutryside. There are a number of noted towns in the region all worth isiting for their beautiful Historic centres and these are Locorotondo. Martina Franca, Cisternino and Ostuni.
