Innisbrook is situated up a typical Cornish lane and is ideal for a peaceful stay,surrounded by gardens and open countryside-a walkers' paradise.The garden catches the sun all day.The apartment is ideally suited for all-season breaks as it provides a warm haven to return to each day and Spring arrives early in Cornwall.The dining kitchen which catches the morning sun, has double doors from the balcony.The bright and spacious bay- windowed lounge has a sofa bed which converts into two single beds.The comfortable double bedroom has plenty of storage.The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath and heated towel rail..

St.Agnes is a popular yet unspoiled village in a rural setting close to beautiful sandy beaches.It is renowned for it's outstanding natural beauty attracting artists from all over the country.St.Agnes is a friendly retreat where holiday makers are made welcome all year round..There are various shops in the villagefrom food stores,bakery,chemist,butcher,newsagent,florist and post office to a bank,hairdressers and art and craft shops.Old pubs and restaurants abound in the narrow streets and lanes and there is a Chinese take away and restaurant,and a fish and chip shop,plus superb hot pasties from the bakery.Recently opened is a Cornish Pizza take-away serving the best pizzas outside of Italy.

There are many village events in the summer-the annual carnival,the steam engine rally,the art exhibition,and the lifeboat day spectacular.

The sandy beach at Trevaunance Cove with it's rock pools is popular with surfers and families and is manned by lifeguards.It has beach shops,cafes,a smugglers' pub and toilets.Walkers enjoy joining the famous cliff walk around the county from here.The small airfield at the next village of Perranporth do glider and scenic trips of the area but do not disturb our peace.Perranporth also has a very active golf club amongst the sand dunes.

The sofa bed divides into a single bed with a single trundle bed underneath.There is storage in the lounge for its bedding during the day.

High chair,travel cot and baby bath may be ordered at time of booking.

Linen and towels are provided plus kitchen and bathroom cleaning materials,kitchen and toilet rolls.

Electric is on a £1.00 coin meter which has been correctly set by our electrician.

Cornish cream tea awaits you in the fridge with tea,sugar and milk.You are greeted with a bottle of wine and fresh flowers on the table.

The lawned garden is sunny and secluded .There are loungers,table and chairs,garden seat and BBQ.

There is an outside tap with hose for rinsing wet suits and costumes,a whirly line and laundry room.

Delivery lorries manage our lane and it is wide enough for cars,but if you have a people carrier or large van you may want to park a few metres away in a wider part of the lane.

A deposit of £100.00 per week is required at time of booking.The remainder to be paid in cash ON ARRIVAL.

A written receipt is given.Directions and map showing how to get to the property will be emailed to you when the booking is finalised.

There is a damage/heavy clean deposit of £50.00 which is normally returned at time of departure inspection.

The Cornwall region

Cornwall is a county renowned for it's tourist industry,and St.Agnes is well known for it's friendly welcome to holiday makers.We have varied scenery-all easily reached as we are central and although very rural,only 3miles from the dual carriageway which links with all parts of the county.There is a strong historical link to tin mining in St.Agnes and a very interesting museum on the edge of the village.

The opposite coast(Falmouth and the Helford River) is only 15 miles away and The Garden Flat is an ideal holiday base,being central for visiting The Eden Project,The Lost Gardens of Heligan,St.Ives and The Tate Gallery with Barbara Hepworth's Sculpture Gardens,the Minnack Theatre on the cliffs at Porthcurno which is open for various performances all summer,St.Michael's Mount,the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth,the Bodmin Steam Railway,various old restored tin mines,many gardens and country houses,wild life sanctuaries and theme parks.

St Agnes

There is something for everyone in St.Agnes("Aggie" as the locals call it).There are two local riding stables,surfing lessons available,a choice of three local beaches,stunning walks(Our neighbours run "The Stompers" and organiselong walks in the area) and a folder of local strolls and walks is left in the property with books and leaflets detailing what's on and where to go.There is a developing music scene in the village and the pubs are becoming well known venues at the weekends for up-and-coming bands.There is a local Tourist Information Centre in the village.A guide and street mapis left in the property and includes useful telephone numbers and details of events in the village.Should you need any help or information,we are close and happy to help.
