The house has 3 comfortable ensuite bedrooms , a well equipped kitchen (American style fridge freezer) and comfortable inside or terrace dining. It has a swimming pool and is the ideal place to sit back and relax or to use as a base from which one can explore the South of France. St Tropez and the Cote D'Azur is approx 40 minutes south and the Gorge De Verdon ( the French equivalent of the Grand Canyon ) is only 1/2 an hour away. In near reach are many hilltop villages of great beauty including Tourtour , vineyards and local market towns .

As well as the 3 ensuites there is an additional toilet on the ground floor . The terrace has dining chairs for 8 people and the lower terrace has 6 chairs which are shaded by a beautiful French oak tree. There are 6 sun loungers by the poolside. Two Double bedrooms + one twin - all are good sized with hanging and drawer space. The lounge is comfortably furnished with digital television , DVD , CD player and an open fireplace.

The house is built on a hillside which affords it lovely views across the valley to the vineyards . There are steps down from the car-park level to the front door and from inside the house down to the poolside terrace. The garden is planted in the Provencal style with many rosemary and lavendar plants as well as some exotic types.

The poolside on the the terraced side of the house is very private.The pool is 8 metres by 4 metres and 1.2 metres deep throughout , normally unheated in the summer as it is not necessary but for an additional cost it can be heated in the lower season if required.There is also a large outdoor pool in the clos which is open during the high season and although it is not heated it is also available for use.

Shopping is within easy reach by car both for food and for house furnishings and clothes.

Draguignan is 20 minutes away and offers a wide variety of shops , hypermarkets and cafes.

Flayosc is only a 3 minute drive from the house, has several good restaurants ( The Salle a Manger, The Cigalon , L'Estaou , Fleur Du Thyme ) + 4 cafes and less expensive eateries for those with children and on a budget. Flayosc also has a butcher , a fish shop , several bakers , 2 mini-markets , a green- grocers , newsagent , gifts shops plus of course a good wine shop , a wine co-operative and an English speaking doctor.

For many years the Var and Cote d'Azur have been popular holiday destinations for the British,

Scandinavians and of course the French themselves. The beautiful hills and mountains are still unspoilt and have something for everyone.Walking in the hills , swimming in the Mediterranean or just relaxing in a local cafe with a coffee or a drink.

A 40 minute drive south takes you to the coast and the Mediterranean and of course many beautiful seaside towns - St Tropez, St Maxime, Bandol, Frejus amongst others.

Monaco is only a 2 hour drive away and is well worth a daytrip.

Flayosc

Flayosc is a charming hilltop village with good restaurants , bars , cafes and shops.There are restaurants to suit all pockets and are very welcoming to holidaymakers.There is a small market on Monday in the village square but there are many markets on a daily basis throught the region - the details of which are contained in the house book.

During June , July and August there are many local festivals, art exhibitions and concerts both jazz and classical.
