The property is approached by a 300m drive, and is well away from the village thus providing peaceful surroundings which encourage feelings of relaxation. The three bedrooms, are carpeted, have country views and are brightly decorated with linen to match. The separate toilet and shower rooms are both equipped with modern fittings and have tiled floors. The large 7mx7m main room, has a modern kitchen area, and there seating for six and a large table for a similar number. This room displays open oak beams and oak flooring. Finally, large sliding glass doors lead onto a room balcony with seating for six, overlooking lawned gardens and having country views. All windows are double glazed.

The extensive land (7.5 acre) has many walking areas allowing guest to walk round our 2 acre lake, with is many fish (card, rudd, bream). There are plenty of places to enjoy a quite picnic or to relax and savour a favourite book-artists are welcome.

Agricultural area with rolling hills many of which still have major forested areas. The very quiet country roads have numerous parking areas with access to rivers and lakes. Nearby (within 1 hour) there are lakes with beaches and some entertainment facilities, but the areas retain their tranquility. Nearby places of interest include Falaise (home of William the Conqueror), Bayeaux and the Normandy beaches. To the south the Loire valley with its many cheateaux is an easy drive away. The weather in summer is warm but nor stifling.
Lassay les Chateaux is an active town with three chateaus, and many facilities. Just 20 minutes away, Mayenne sitting by the Mayenne river is larger with a superb museum and numerous shops and cafes. For history lovers Jublain is a Roman garrison town with a temple, ampitheatre, baths and fortess; there is an excellent museum, and the Cella restaurant provides superb linches.
