Our holiday home is ground floor, private and secure and perfect for families who want their own space and privacy. Center facing on to the beautiful pool and recreation area of the Orada Resort and has been described by many of our previous guests as a real "home from home on our "algarvebliss guest book".
We strive to provide those home comforts which make that important difference and make your family holiday an enjoyable and stress free experience rather than a survival exercise in the sun. We believe if the children are happy the adults have a more stress free experience and better holiday, we also believe that is why so many of our previous guests have gave us glowing reviews of their holiday experience with us.
Our property is also our holiday home where we spend many relaxing weeks relaxing weeks each year so you will not find it lacking or basic regarding home comforts. We are on a prime ground floor site on the beautiful child friendly Orada Resort right beside Albufeira Marina. Whilst our property is a one bed apartment with additional sleeping in the living area our apartment is actually larger than many of the two apartments on the resort so affords spacious living.
Both the resort and our apartment have been extremely popular with both couples and families being repeatedly described as a home from home in our "algarvebliss guest book". We are grateful to all our previous guests who have written such kind words and strive to make sure no guest is ever disappointed.
Albufeira Marina provides eating, entertainment and all sorts of water based activities including cruises, power boat rides, dolphin searches, diving, fishing and scuba diving experiences. Alternatively enjoy a drink or coffee on the boardwalk and watch the world go by while the children enjoy the amusements.
On a practical side our villa is fully equipped with Bosch kitchen appliances including a large fridge freezer with usable family space unlike many token offerings we have experienced in the past. A large flat panel TV combined with a Media Player containing features for both adults and children and UK satellite TV provide entertainment when not out soaking up the Portuguese sun

Large and private ground floor patio (17m2) and surrounding landscaped area which is enclosed and private on two sides. Double outdoor dining set with two lounge chairs and small table are provided for outdoor dining and relaxing.
Large and very spacious (20m2) bedroom with separate air conditioning unit, full height built in wardrobe including drawer sets and security safe for personal belongings large enough for a 15.6 inch laptop computer. Queen size bed, travel cot, bedside tables, lamps, two dressing chairs and sliding blackout curtains for main feature window.
Fully equipped with all Bosch appliances including full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster, juicer, iron, ironing board, complete sets of saucepans, cooking utensils, glasses, cutlery and dishes.
The bathroom has bath with overhead shower, wc, bidet, sink and under sink storage cabinet, shaving/hairdryer sockets, hairdryer, marble counter tops, large wall mirror. All bath towels are provided but we do not provide beach towels.
Access to the apartment is ground floor, our apartment is in a prime location overlooking the central pool and landscaped recreation area of the resort. All access points to the resort are covered by CCTV and 24 hour security is provided by the resort.

A welcome pack containing essentials like Bread, Butter, Milk (semi skimmed), 5 ltr. bottle of water, tea, coffee, sugar, ham, cheese, seasonal salad item and seasonal fruit can be arranged through the owners at the cost price of £27.
The Algarve is the Portuguese equivalent to the American Florida or southern California. The sun and sea dominate the atmosphere of the Algarve, bestowing on it the ideal qualities of a holiday paradise and making it the "Garden of Portugal". The area has over one hundred miles of the finest beaches in Europe and enjoys around three hundred days of sunshine a year. The region is dotted with Moorish villages with white washed houses and seafood in abundance.
One such resort is the town of Albufeira which is arguably the most popular Algarve destination for holiday makers. This is because of its established infrastructure and tourist attractions. Many tourist attractions like Zoomarine (the only place in Europe where you can swim with Dolphins), Slide & Splash Water Park, Aquashow Family Park, Jeep Safari's, Sea Cruises and water sports too numerous to mention have sprung up and are easily accessible from Albufeira.
Every town of any size has a permanent covered market, which opens every day except Sunday from 8am until around 1pm. There are usually separate areas for wet fish and for fruit and vegetables and some have butcher’s shops around the perimeter of the market hall. Larger markets also have stalls selling home-baked breads, cheeses, etc. Markets attract gypsies and peasant farmers who set up ad hoc stalls in the nearby streets and sell absolutely anything. Albufeira has a large market not far from Lidl and only a few miles from the Marina complex.
Orada is a purpose built tourism and leisure complex which has been created in line with the highest standards and specifically designed to be enjoyed year-round. Restaurants on the adjacent Albufeira Marina include Italian, Traditional Portuguese, Fish, Seafood and Sushi providing relaxing and romantic dining. Orada reception has it's own snack bar, reading room, games room, internet access and toilet facilities for guest use.
Activities like Daily Cruises, Cave Exploration, Diving, Parasailing, Jet Skis, B.B.Q and Sunset Cruises, Big Game and Reel Fishing can be booked on the Marina. Or why not get picked up for a tour and tasting at the vineyard where Sir Cliff Richard produces his Vida Nova wine which is only a 10 minute drive or short taxi ride from Orada.
The complex is serviced by the Giro bus link leaving every 30 minutes from a stop just 50 metres from the reception area. 2007 saw the introduction of a tourist train which runs every 30 minutes from the marina to the Old Town. Other transfers can be arranged at reception to locations like Algarve Shopping for around €5.
Just 30 minutes from Faro airport and a stone’s throw from the charming old centre of Albufeira, is located one of the most attractive and bold architectural developments built in Portugal in recent times. Idyllically located on a coastal plain surrounded by low hills, this low residential density development is set in 65 hectares of land. Over half of this area is covered by landscaped gardens and paved pedestrian paths sheltered by many lines of trees; another 20% of the area is occupied by the lake and the Marina’s wharf. Overall, less than a third of the total development area is taken up by buildings, streets and parking spaces.
