This is a great area for hiking and a famous marked trail, the GR 51 known as the Balcony of the Côte d’Azur runs through the hills just outside Grasse. The coast is about 15km and there is an excellent choice of beaches at Mandelieu, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes. Nice airport is about 22km.
