A town-centre three-bedroom house, minutes walk from Weymouth’s sandy beach.
Our Victorian house probably fits into the category of “charming” rather than “luxury”. Although we do have a roll-top bath, wood-burning stove and sky tv!
The house is situated on a pedestrianised street. We provide a local parking permit, but are also very close to Weymouth train station.

|Further details indoors|
We have two twin rooms and one double. There's a large bathroom, with the previously mentioned roll-top bath as well as a shower. Downstairs is a comfortable living room with an adjoining dinning room, opening onto a courtyard garden. The gallery kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pot, pans, gas-hob, kettle, toasty-maker, etc. t.
Please note, as it's an old house, the stairs up to the second floor (where the two single bedrooms are) are narrow and winding. For most this shouldn't be a problem (we seem to manage it, even after a few drinks) but please enquire f you have any worries about accessibility.
|Further details outdoors|
We have a small courtyard garden — a nice little sun trap , with a BBQ and outdoor seating.
Dorset is a sunny place to visit. We seem to have quite a bit of sun. There are lots of historic places to visit in Dorset, like Corfe Castle, Maiden Castle, and a Bronze aged hill fort. Most of Dorset's coastline has Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty status and the Jurassic coast starts at the East end of Dorset. Weymouth makes a good base to visit the whole stretch of the Jurassic coast with a Jurassic bus running a long the whole length of the coast daily going both ways. There is also plenty for the children, from time on our beaches to Monkey world, Sealife Centre and the Tank museum.
Weymouth is the home of the Sailing Olympics this summer. There are plenty of activities as part of the cultural Olympics as well as the Sailing itself. There are also many festivals taking place through out the year. We have a great beach for families, two minutes walk from the house. The Sea Life Centre is a walk away or you can catch the land train. Weymouth has many great restaurants and a fun night life.
