The village is surrounded by fields and the stunning landscape is perfect to walk and cycle through. A bread van calls at the village most days and local shops are just five minutes drive away, with larger towns within 20 minutes.

The location offers peace, quiet and tranquility in a traditional stone cottage that has been updated to include 'All Mod Cons' and is perfectly suited to access all this historical area has to offer. Numerous Chateux, Canals, historic Vezelay and Noyer-sur-Serein, Chablis and its famous wines, Les Ricey and the Champagne region, the beautiful city of Auxerre and so much more are all within an hours drive.

Downstairs is a large, traditional french kitchen with stone walls. It offers all the modern facilities one would expect and a large table and chairs to seat 7 comfortably. Steps lead to the living area with leather sofas, wood burning fire and flat screen TV with satellite channels, inc. numerous English speaking. Double doors lead on to the patio with wooden seating and tables for 7 people.

Stairs lead off the living area to the first floor which comprises a double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom with shower cubicle, two basins and jacuzzi bath. There is also a separate WC.

Further stairs lead to the second floor with another double bedroom and single bedroom which additionally comprises a single futon.

The south facing walled garden is an oasis of peace, private and beautiful it is the perfect place to relax. The old barn at the bottom of the garden stores numerous seats and sun loungers and there are bicycles for your use. The barbeque area contains a charcoal barbeque and the patio has comfortable seating for eight people. The garden is a courtyard style with an old (safe!) well and enough shade for even the hottest of days.
