Summer time is exciting and peak time on the Cote d'azur . However, Cannes offers something all year round and The Spring and Autumn, out of main season, is still very busy and buzzy...and less crowded. Cannes also holds fairs and events over Christmas and is a wonderful place to see in New Year !

The apartment is New and has modern facilities. Reversible air condtioning, double glazed windows, security front door and video phone entry system. Wifi and cable TV connected.
The apartment has a main entrance directly from the Rue Georges Clemenceau into a long impressive entrance Hall. There is a modern lift to the 4th floor where the apartment is set back from the main road and enjoys a quiet aspect overlooking the traditional internal courtyard from the terrace. There is access to the terrace from both the main lounge/living area and the double bedroom. There is a large modern flush floor shower room with basin and WC.
There is a breakfast bar adjacent to the small kitchen area and a comfortable lounge area. There is an outside table and chairs for dining on the terrace.
If you have a car the Garage entrance is situated right next to the main entrance of the aartment block. Remote access to the garage. Access to the main entrance hall is via the internal door from the garage. Automatic security lighting is in situ throughout the communal building areas.

It is also one that is full of history. Invaded by Rome, many original amphitheatres survive. Several Popes resided in Avignon in the 14th century and the region is full of ancient castles and historic sites.

The roads surrounding Cannes are great for driving and exploring. Excellent local roads for motorcycling.
