Coble Cottage is an award winning Quality Assessed Four Star Gold property offering excellent accommodation for up to four people. The lounge has a comfortable leather suite and our well equipped kitchen has all you will need including a Denby dinner service, Krupps coffee machine and plenty of storage. There is both corner bath and free standing shower unit in our spacious bathroom. Excellent quality bedlinen and towels are provided. We have a host of tourist information and books about the local area and the cottage is full of original art by local artists including, paintings and ceramics in both porcelain and stoneware.

Free on street parking is available at the front of the cottage.
A simple welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter and a cake or biscuits is provided on arrival.
There is a small local supermarket open until 10pm within easy walking distance.
Northumberland is a county full of contrasts with an exceptional history. Hadrian's Wall is a world Heritage site and there are castles a plenty - Walkworth, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh to name only three within striking distance. We have a fantastic coastline much of it designated as an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and gardens of international reputation -Alnwick Garden is only a short drive away. If it's culture or shopping or food that interest you the Metro Centre and the theaters, galleries and restaurants of Newcastle/Gateshead are only 30 minutes away.
For a village of only 6,000 Newbiggin has much to offer the visitor. We have a wonderful bay, a sandy beach, interesting rock pools and the first permanent offshore sculpture in the UK. Northumberland's newest visitor attraction the Newbiggin Maritime Centre opened it's doors here in 2011 and boasts 3 exhibition halls, a cafe with stunning views and a shop selling local crafts. KEAP Creative, a group of artists have created an Art trail which is added to every year and now includes over 50 pieces (one of which is on the back wall of the cottage). There is a Links Golf Course a few minutes walk away and our lifeboat is housed in the oldest operational lifeboat station in the country.
