Delightful, contemporary, secluded studio; located a short distance from Bath city centre. Ideal for a week-end break or short 'stay cation' .
Bath is renowned for its many festivals throughout the year: International Music, Literature, Photography, Film and Comedy - all have their place in the calendar.
Why not plan your stay to coincide with one of these events? or enjoy an evening at the Theatre Royal or Ustinov Theatre?
River Studio is the ideal base for a relaxing Thermae Spa break or for a spot of retail therapy. The Studio is well placed for those interested in the heritage and history of the city: explore the Roman Baths & Pump Room, the Assembly Rooms, Victoria Art Gallery or the beautifully refurbished Holborne Museum.
A trip to Bath is incomplete without a stroll through Royal Victoria Park, just 5 minutes from the Studio; along past the honeyed Bath stone and Georgian splendour of the Royal Crescent and the Circus. At the end of your day you may wish to sample one of the many fine restaurants or gastro-pubs available throughout the city. Alternatively the small kitchenette permits private dining if you so wish.
For those seeking a more active, outdoor break the Studio offers immediate access onto SUSTRANS Route No 4 cycle track which links Bath and Bristol & the 2 Tunnels route that provides a uniques 20 mile circular route starting and ending in the city.

While the studio is a delightful secluded escape for couples it is also suitable as a base for parents travelling with a young infant - we have a travel cot for the little one :)
As the studio is quietly located behind my home I can be flexible on arrival times. Keys are available for collection from 15:30 on the day of arrival and I kindly ask guests to vacate by 11:00 on departure. I normally welcome guests to the studio, however, on the odd occasion that I may be away from home when you arrive there is a discrete safe key located close by the entrance.
As a courtesy I ask guests to text or email to let me know their ETA.
