Caldey view is located just off the Esplanade, a two minute stroll from the sandy Blue Flag South Beach. There are actually 4 beaches to choose from in this beautiful town! Ideal for families with young children and superb for walkers who want to enjoy the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or golfers who want the challenge of the nearby Links course just 5 minutes down the road.

Summer boat trips, jet ski safaris, fishing trips, unspoilt countryside, the best views in the world (in my opinion!) Caldey Island inhabited by monks is a great day out, especially when a local band is playing on the green. An added extra is a little enclosed private garden to the rear of the property, with table and chairs and a clothes line. A perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.

The Pembrokeshire region

A part of the Pembrokeshire National Coastal Park, the historical picturesque town of Tenby has managed to escape the feel of modernisation. With its medieval castle walls surrounding the town, cobbled streets, four beautiful Blue Flag sandy beaches, a quaint working harbour, craft and gift shops galore, a good range of restaurants serving local produce, this town is most definitely worth a visit.

Often blessed with its own micro-climate, it is a perfect place for a nice relaxing break. Steeped in history and guarded by the majestic St Marys church in the centre of town, the sound of peeling bells often fill the air.

Tenby

Caldey Island, with it's monastery and lovely walks is only a short boat ride away. Also on the water, there are seal viewing trips, fishing trips and watersports. Horse riding on the beach is also available. Further afield is Skomer and Ramsay island, wildlife sanctuaries, well worth a visit. For the more adventurous, there is surfing at Newgale, dolphin and whale watching at St Davids, coasteering and micro-light flying to name but a few.

A good selection of pubs and a golf course all within easy walking distance of the apartment. A short drive will take you to the local leisure attractions, Folly Farm, Oakwood, Dinosaur Park and Heatherton Country Sports Park for a fun day out for all ages. (Local buses are available to these attractions).
