Located in the centre of the village close to shops, cafes, restaurants and ski hire (all literally a minutes walk from the front door), so there is much of interest when not skiing. It is also close to the children's' playground, the ice rink and cinema; and there is a weekly market on Tuesdays selling local produce.
Easy access to the main telecabine (access to main ski area) - approx 800m from the apartment. During the ski season there are free buses from the village square - buses run every 10 minutes and take approx. 2 minutes to reach the telecabine. For those that prefer to drive there is also ample parking at the telecabine.
The nursery slopes are located on the edge of the village a short walk or free bus ride. Other winter activities include cross country and telemark skiing,dog sledding, and snow mobiling.
Les Carroz has a huge range of outdoor activities in summer; hiking, mountain biking (bike hire available from several shops in town), fishing, paragliding, 'go ape' in the trees,horse and pony riding, white water rafting,and canyoning. The excellent sports centre is nearby with tennis courts, sauna and outdoor swimming pools (available all year round). There is a full 18 hole golf course in nearby Flaine. There are many well marked paths throughout the region.
