Our cottage is located 20 minutes from Bergamo, in a very quite spot of nature. Ideal for a relaxing holiday and for who loves walking, cycling, birdwatching and visiting historical places. Amazing for children as well.
It is located right in the middle of the National Park Adda Nord, where Leonardo da Vinci spent much time studying botanic and hydroelectricity. It boasts wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. It is only few steps away from river Adda and its very many paths to walk or cycle. It is also very close to a birdwatching station.
The cottage is on one floor and features wooden beams and two large fireplaces, inside and outside. There is also a wide patio looking onto a 500 sqm garden which hosts a shallow swimming pool, perfect for children.
It is nicely furnished and has three bedrooms: one double with ensuite toilet, one twin room (can be made into double) and another room with a bunk bed plus a single sofabed. Additional sleeping space is in the large living room with a double sofa bed. Another bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area complete the property.
Children and small pets are more than welcome and we provide cots, highchairs and car seats on request.

Bergamo and its province are ideal destinations for those who love art and culture but also sports, thanks to its efficient tourism facilities. Tourism in the area, in fact, takes advantage of artistic offerings, natural scenic beauty and a pleasant climate. The province of Bergamo is situated in eastern Lombardy and occupies the central section of the Lombardy Pre-Alps and a small part of the Po plain. The north of the province is a mountainous region, connected to the south by land straddling the hills and the Po Plain.
The territory of Bergamo boasts landscapes that combine nature and human presence in a harmonious way. Its valleys (Val Brembana and Val Seriana are the main ones, giving way to smaller, but no less evocative valleys), are the locations for ski slopes of varying degrees of difficulty which are served by a network of ski lifts to the numerous pistes.
These valleys are not only beautiful in winter: they seem to reveal their sweeter face during the summertime, offering beautiful excursions in lush vegetation bathed in light; in autumn the forests covering the hillsides are an explosion of browns and reds , a fairy tale landscape that changes with every day.
The Adda Nord Park includes the territories situated along the course of the river Adda, in particular along the stretch crossing the high plain below the lake of Como and including the lakes of Garlate and Olginate. This stretch of river winds across the narrow banks with typical outcroppings of conglomerate reefs (the so-called "ceppo") and it forms a characteristic landscape where thick woods alternate with more populated areas.
The most interesting area from a naturalistic point of view is the one covered by the wide wetland of the marsh in Brivio. Of particular importance are the archaeological and monumental aspects, with some hydraulic engineering works dating back to the beginning of the century like Leonardo's locks (Trezzo sull'Adda), the bridge in Paderno, and the industrial village of Crespi d'Adda.
