Brittany has a huge coastline and the Cotes d'armor has some of the pretties beaches in France. Up to around 4 degrees warmer than the UK you'll notice the difference on those hot sunny days. Medieval Dinan is only 20 minutes away from us with around 50 restaurants and bars to choose from. This area is also popular with cyclists and walkers. St Brieuc and Rennes are large towns good for shopping.
St Malo Old Town is lovely with its shops and restaurants and you can walk completely round the perimeter walls. Le Mont St Michel is under an hour from here and the boat which takes you to the Ile de Brehat is just over an hour away which is a lovely day out. Jugon Les Lacs is 20 minutes at the most with all the water sports you could want. Steeped in history you will find chateau's dotted all over the department.
Broons is the birth place of Bertrand Duguesclin and his monument is at the back of house just beyond the terrace. Broons holds its weekly market every Wednesday morning just in front of the house so not far to go. There are 2 good restaurants and 4 bars including a Bar Tabac.
All small villages near Broons hold celebrations each summer including one for Bastile Day and each have a music festival and all are worth a visit. Dinan is the biggest attraction here with is Ramparts and pretty Port.
