Cuddy Cottage is a very cosy retreat in a quiet secluded yard at the foot of the famous 199 steps.
The grade II cottage has retained many of it's original features and has been furnished to a high standard. The accommodation is over three floors. Entrance hallway, bedroom with king sized bed, built in wardrobe and dressing table. Stairs lead down to a modern well equipped kitchen with dining area. Through to a cosy lounge with a gas coal effect stove in a red brick fireplace. From the entrance hallway, stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a bedroom with two single beds. This floor also has a shower room, with shower, toilet and washbasin.
There is a seating out area in front of the cottage in the sunny west facing yard.

Full central heating with a gas stove in the sitting room. Electric oven and hob with fridge and ice box. Washing machine, microwave and seating in the dining area for four people. Colour flatscreen TV with freeview, DVD and music system. All bed linen and towels provided. Loading and unloading outside of Kiln Yard is permitted and there is a turning area at the end of Henrietta Street. Public car parks are a 5/10 min walk away and there is ample free parking in Whitby. However, it is possible to obtain car parking permits from the Tourist Information Office.
