Large raised terrace patio area usually becomes the focal point of your living space, offering convenient internal/al fresco dining beneath the covered wooden pergola which extends the full length of the villa. Perfect for lunch and evening barbeques overlooking the pool and the jaw dropping views of the bay and beach beyond. The terrace boasts a large wooden dining table and chairs to seat everybody and at night is swathed in peaceful muted mood lighting, making the nights at the villa equally as pleasurable as the day
Tucked around the corner from the terrace is a large built in BBQ, internally spot lit to assist those wanting to cook in the dark but not burn the dinner
The 10 metre pool extends the length of the villa with gentle entrance steps to the shallow end and a maximum depth of 1.3 metres. It’s great for the whole family and can easily accommodate everyone all at the same time. At night the pool is sub lit for an atmospheric romantic swim under the stars

Famous for its trees, tranquility and a coastline that Mother Nature has nibbled at over the years, the raw beauty of Alonissos has been described as a ‘magical’ island and a wonderful sanctuary for retreat
At 20km long and a local population of 1500, it is the only inhabited island in a marine preservation park where 300 of the world’s 500 endangered monk seals live under protective laws. Indeed, the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea dominate everyday life here, with the gently paced ebb and flow of island rhythm emanating from the main port town of Patiri, up through pine wood valleys to olive groves on the hillsides beyond
It is an island of marvellous peace, privacy and seclusion. For the holidaymaker, there are literally dozens of quiet sheltered beaches and bays so empty you inevitably convince yourself that they belong to you. Even in the height of summer the place still manages to feel quiet
Evenings are low key. Nightlife comprises local bars and tavernas. There’s a rumour of a night club but nobody’s been to it. Bring your own entertainment, otherwise you can rely on a couple of cats fighting for an evening’s distraction
This is an island where both classic and contemporary meet with a knowing, nodding smile and rub along together quite happily. Transport is essential – but any mode will do. Goat bells clank a chorus refrain to the whirr of mopeds, whilst cars tend to listlessly adorn the side of the road rather than the middle of it.
The location of Alonnisos Villas is ideal for some of the best beaches on the island. Although you could walk to them, it’s advisable to drive. Most beaches are smooth stoned but the nearest to the villas – Chrisi Milia and Katerinas Vala - both have sand and are excellent for small children as they boast expansive gently sloping shallows which are great for paddling in. For more experienced swimmers, the snorkelling out in the bay is excellent.
Further afield you’ll find the sleepy ports of Steni Vala – the Fiskardo/Puerto Banus of Alonnissos (but don’t get your hopes up!) and the slightly less sophisticated but more intimate Kalamakia. Naturally both are excellent for fresh fish restaurants.
The hot spot for night life is found either in Patitiri or the Old Town, the former for the young and noisy – as young and noisy as it gets on the island – and the latter for a more sophisticated night out with plenty of tourist shopping opportunities.
