Trevarth Terrace is a character terraced house located in the peaceful village of Lanner, 2 miles southeast of the town of Redruth and approximately 8 miles from the harbour town of Falmouth. The house is situated along a quiet road, with stunning views of the beautiful Cornish country-side.

There are so many beautiful walks in this area, one of which is the walk up to the ancient hills of Carn Marth which can be seen from the cottage gardens and bedroom windows. From the summit, there are far-reaching views of Bodmin Moor, the north coast, St Agnes Beacon and Falmouth to the south. Be prepared to see an abundance of wildlife too, from reptiles to buzzards and even the odd peregrine soaring overhead.

This is a perfect base for walking, cycling, horse-riding and golf (18 hole) at Tehidy which are all close by. The nearest sandy beach is Portreath (6 miles) or Porthtowan (4.5 miles). Village pub serving food (10 min walk) and other village pubs & eateries within walking distance or less than 5 mins by car. Centrally located for visiting and exploring the surrounding area of Falmouth, St Ives, Truro and Newquay. Village shops are a 15 min walk or 2 min drive.

The cottage has a 70ft front garden with plenty of off-road parking for two cars. There is also a bike storage area, which can store up to 4 bikes (2 adults and 2 children) and outside lighting.

Ground floor: Living room with granite fireplace. SKY+ TV and DVD, WiFi. Open beamed ceilings. The living/dining room is open-plan. Storage heating and electric fire. Kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven.

Garden/Outdoor space: Pretty, sunny terrace to the back, equipped with wooden bench seating and BBQ Firepit table. Concrete steps lead up to a lawned garden and a second terraced area with patio table and chairs for 4.

First Floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single and 1 study with a single day-bed. Shower-room with WC.

Cornwall is located in the far south west of the UK. A family-friendly destination with so much to see and plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

The beaches of course, are stunning with all manner of watersports you can imagine. From surfing, body-boarding and swimming to kite-surfing and fishing. For walkers, there are an abundance of inland paths to explore as well as the famous south west coastal path, which is a must for sheer breathtaking views. Cyclist are spoilt for choice with cycle hire and cycling paths that can take you through some amazing scenery and picturesque villages.

Top attractions include not only the stunning beaches, but a visit to the Eden Project, arts and galleries, the most famous being the Tate Gallery at St Ives, Padstow , famous for Rick Stein's restaurants, the cathedral city of Truro. Or why not discover the legends of King Arthur and visit magical Tintagel. For gardens there are The Lost Gardens of Heligan or Trebah Gardens to name but a few.

There's never a dull moment in Cornwall. The beauty of the landscape, the beaches, the food, the people. All of which will entice you to visit this most beautiful part of the UK, time and time again.

Portreath

Trevarth is located in the village of Lanner near Redruth. With picturesque, rural views this is a perfect location for walkers, cyclists and fishing enthusiasts.

The nearest village shop is a 15 min walk from the cottage and there is a family-friendly bar serving good pub food only a 10 min walk. Lanner has a bakery, fish and chip shop and two bars serving food. Carharrack (15 min walk from the property) has a local Premier Store and Chinese takeaway. The village of St Day has two local butchers and two local shops stocking fresh produce and other essential items. Redruth is the nearest main town at only 2 miles from the property for high street shops, restaurants and the train station.

There are numerous public footpaths around Trevarth. The most picturesque are those that lead up to Carn Marth - well worth a go for stunning views at the summit. If you prefer cycling to walking then there are cycle paths that lead all the way down to the coast of Portreath.

The nearest beaches are Porthtowan (6 miles) or Portreath (4.5 miles), for surf hire, beach shops, cafes and bars.
