Le Vivier's accommodation is on three floors. The ground floor has a spacious well equipped kitchen/dining area with large sliding windows opening onto a partly decked south facing secluded garden. There is a double futon in the dining area. The large sitting room is always cool in the summer and has a traditional stone fireplace with wood burner. The house contains numerous books, games and films for guests to enjoy.
There is a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin on this floor. On the first floor we have a large ensuite master bedroom with a king size sleigh bed.
The second floor has a double and single bedroom with a separate shower room.There are natural wood floors throughout the whole house. Beams, high ceilings and some revealed stonework enhance a spacious and quiet venue for a relaxing holida

There is a small public car park very near to the house or park outside the house.
The Vendee is famous for its wonderful weather, miles of long sandy, pine backed beaches and fields of sunflowers.
Visit historic La Rochelle, take a boat on the canals of the Marais Poitevin, enjoy wonderful walks in the Vouvant Mervent forest. and visit the Saturday market at Fontenay le Comte.
The nearby cave at Pissotte produces and sells direct to the public excellent well-known local red and white wines. A must for wine lovers.
Vouvant in the south of the Vendee is a well noted beauty spot with "plus beaux villages de France" and Petite Cite de Caractere" awards, making it a terrrific base for your holiday.
