Tulip cottage is a cosy, one bedroom cottage with lovely gardens and a small stream. The cottage is centrally heated and has a wood burning stove set in the lounge, making it a cosy place to settle down for a quiet evening. Inside, the cottage is clean, modern and bright. There is a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The sofa also folds out into a bed. The kitchen diner is spacious and has all the equipment you are likely to need during your stay here.

Property has gas fired central heating and comprises: Entrance into hallway leading to open plan living accommodation with  lounge area: with comfy seating arranged around the wood burning stove (fuel available locally)  digital TV and DVD. Dining area:. Kitchen: with electric cooker, fridge with freezer box, and microwave. Bedroom 1: Double bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

All gas, electric, bed linen  provided. Towels not provided but available to rent at £5 per set per person. Sorry, no cot available. WiFi internet connection available.

Other areas to discover include the Eden Valley, Cartmel peninsula, south east Cumbria and the Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall area; all equally beautiful and very handy for day trips into the lakes.


Situated near Kendal, in the south of the Lake District, makes this cottage is ideal for exploring the Lakes, Dales and the coast. Walkers, the fit and the not so fit, can enjoy the scenery and wildlife. There are shops, pubs and restaurants not only in Kendal but also in the other local villages. From your accommodation Cumbria offers a chance to see the world famous scenery and attractions, such as Kendal Castle. Don't forget your camera!
