The Wensleydale area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is a culturally rich area of England with many sites of interest. Yorkshire has many beautiful walks and High House gives a great starting point for many of these. It's possible to walk to Buttertubs pass or even Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in Great Britain. For those who don't want to walk but want to see the same sights horse riding is also often an option. Aside from that there are many local highlights such as Bolton Castle and the world renowned Wensleydale Creamery Visitors Centre.
